Adam graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Honors). He continued his educational endeavors at Dalhousie University with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy in 2008. He has been working in a private practice setting since graduation and started his career in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He worked for a year at St. Margaret’s Bay Physiotherapy and then transferred to Citadel physiotherapy from 2009-2012, which was a part of the arthritis and injury care center. This clinic offered a wide range of rehabilitative services including physiotherapy, orthopedic bracing, custom orthotics, sports medicine physician, and massage therapy. He started working at Nova Physiotherapy in May 2012.

He has completed post secondary courses in acupuncture, muscular imbalances, advanced athletic taping and manual and manipulative physiotherapy.

Adam has been involved with competitive sports his entire life and was a member of the Newfoundland and Labrador cross country ski team at the 2003 Canada Winter Games in Bathurst, New Brunswick. Throughout his athletic experiences he gained a keen interest in sport and orthopedic rehabilitation and exercise prescription and has volunteered for various sporting events. During his free time he enjoys participating in basketball, hockey, running, weight training, and salmon fishing back on the Northern Peninsula.
